benjamin_kim 0 Posted December 19, 2012 Definitely worth it! What a great shot. I love the streaks of light as they shine through the trees. Congratulations on a great capture. Link to comment
gap 0 Posted December 21, 2012 I like this image very much but I do think the burn out of the sky has been taken a little too far. I understand the ideal of the sun blazing into this tranquil scene, but I think it dominates just a touch too much. If you shot in raw perhaps you could drop the exposure a stop or two and create a very subtle HDR rendering? I think it would be worth the effort because there's no doubt that this is potentially a magnificent scene. Link to comment
addicted2light 0 Posted December 21, 2012 Hi Graham, thanks to you (and to Benjamin!) for the appreciation. The image has been shot on slide film, so no hdr possible… And what you see in the sky and in the foreground it's not intentional burning, but an out of focus tree and a few shrubs in shadow :) But thanks anyway for the suggestions!
