Most photographers would know how difficult it is to capture a good panning. Technically, this one is as good as it gets. Not only you got the face of the subject in focus, which is the primordial objective of a panning, but furthermore, the fact that most of her black jacket also came in focus gives it an extra dimension to it. As one cannot quite distinguish her feet, this image gives the impression that the nun is floating along the sidewalk. The textured stone wall and the ascending parallel stair steps in the background further contribute to the monastic feeling of the image. Wow!. Kind regards, Alfredo Chirinos
