I've been here several times.  This appears to be looking northeast towards the Grapevine Mountains.  And so I assume this is sunset, as the shadows are to the right of the brush.  I have never seen the background mountains appear so dark, gloomy and monotone when the foreground is so bright as this.   

Striking colours, perfectly done foreground, very well composed.

Well composed and nice contrasts. From the number of tracks in the sand it looks like there must be an army of photographers trekking through here.

This is a beautiful work with wonderful colour and great detail. Congratulations!

The colour / light  contrast between foreground and background is amazing!The foreground vegetation is well placed in the frame too.

The bright gold against the dark blue is a great combination, and the patch of green breaks up what would otherwise be a big, almost featureless patch of sand.   It's nicely composed.
