Hi Rajat,

A nice capture of a scene from life.

I can recall clearly, working like this when I was 15 years old.

In my parents house, they taught me to work for what I wanted. As a young boy , they would set aside 1/2 the cost of a purchase that I wanted to make and I would work for the balance.

I learned from many lessons like that.

An image that like Mike takes me back to my childhood. I also work hard to support my mother and sister since the age of 13. Life is about making the best of what is presented to you. You, Mike and I did it! Happy New Year my friend. Warm regards.

A fine capture indeed and nicely composed to include many of the workplace elements.  I hope he gets it all off the ground before the concrete sets.  :-)  Perhaps with the money he earns he'll be able to afford a pair of feet protecting work boots. He looks awfully vulnerable.  Reminds me of a video I saw on the Chittagong ship graveyards where the workers disassemble old ships barefoot or with sandals at best.  Happy New Year.   LM.

Having worked with concrete I can attest to the difficulty of this work and this image strikes a strong cord of empathy.  I do hope, however, with this mixing method that this concrete is not being used structurally since the compressive stength will be suspect.  A well captured working scene...  Mike
