Excellent image and well done technically. I love these kinds of images and you have a great portfolio. These kinds of images require great imagination because it's all in the mind of the artist and you bring into being. This kind of image doesn't appeal to everyone of course. I find them to be much more interesting because you are trying to figure out the image and your response to what you perceive the story to be. Of course with this type of image the interpretations can vary wildly according to the mindset of the viewer. Great work.

 I am new to this website, and it was a pleasure that this is/was the first photo I can critique! That aside, I would just like to say that this image is not only beautiful, but great from a technical and imaginative stand point.   To me, the best part of this photo is the shado from the Ladder, which adds not only a touch of realism yet clashes with the surrealism of the ladder itself, but looks great too!
