I like the b&w treatment. The narrow DOF and the framing. These leave the viewer with no question as to the subject of the photo and allows you to focus on her without distracting elements. I realize this was probably a spontaneous capture rather than a staged shot but I would have liked to see more of her face. As it is now the eye is cut off a bit. The biggest distraction is her nose. Maybe it's just me but I can't seem to connect it with her face if you know what I mean. It's probably because we only see a very small portion and it's lighter in tone than the rest of her face because her face is in shadow and the sunlight is hitting her nose. Probably not a problem for most judging by the above comments.

The lady was praying outside ethiopian church.Her face were between the bars in a profile.somehow i was caught in her corner of her eye and she tried to turn at me in curiosity.that was the moment i was looking for......

Hi, Hanan! I read your touching biography and went to look through your gallery - wonderful eye you have for a street photographer ! I love this in particular - It brought back memories of us leaving in Iran way ago, 35 years. We were strangers there and that's exactly we could see - curious eyes of young people interested in another world. I think it is really a great picture that provokes thought and emotions.
