Arup,  Wow, what light.  I tinkered a bit, cropping from the bottom and then opening up the foreground shadows some.   I like the image without my suggested changes; they require your judgment.  Nice work.  Larry

In fact cropped version better fits my taste, the original photo could be better for me if you didn't darken the very low part of the picture.

A well taken photo. I like the low sun angle casting the yellow hue on the mountain, but the mountain in the bottom right of the frame is lacking in detail. If you could bring out some of that detail it would make the image perfect.

the original is way bettor than the other fella's.... the black sweetens the light on the mountain snow and allows for a great sky to set off the wind blown snow

too many people don't understand....it's way ok to let parts of a photo go black...it actually happens in nature....but gosh... you're not 'supposed to' lose detail in in the shadows...b.s.

just my thoughts
