Cemetery Sunset

This is a cold December sunset in northern Minnesota as I walked in

the Cemetery to visit my moms Grave site.

Hope you had a good visit.Quite impressive light/colors in this sunset and this tree has the shape of the setting if there is such a thing.Just an excellent image and the square format is fitting to hold the intense scene.Bravo.With your permission,I'll borrow this for my Favorites folder.

A lovely sunset and a nice silhouette. The darkened borders on the left, right and top see a little out of place though.

The twisted forms of a black snag set against the beautiful colors of a sunset seem so appropriate to describe your walk.  You might also try this without the border vignette on the left and right (while keeping the vignette across the top). It would also be great (I think) to see this just after the sun slips below the horizon and the intense light is gone, as long as you have good clouds.

Paul,  Excellent image.  I agree with Stephen about the vignette.  To me, the vignetter makes the image spooky and eerie like a Halloween scene.  What matters is the effect you are seeking.  Nice job.  Larry

  Looks like you where given a beautiful sunset to admire while you visited with you mom.  Sometimes I think we are given these moments to no that our parents are still with us.  Take care, Patsy
