I like the blurry bits as much as the in-focus area. Stopped down to that sweet spot of just a couple millimeters, you've made it work without looking effecty. It looks like a giant plant shoot from a Schindler's List version of 'Avatar'.

A fine presentation of a plant, very artistic. The overall lack of contrast and sepia tone, makes this a very elegant image. Well done.
