Interesting shot--wonder if the chameleon is trying to pat the dog on the nose? and if he does, how will the dog react?  Stay tuned..................

I see how an outsider can see it that way, Mike, but it actually didn't even dawn on me until you made that comment.  I guess because I was there and know my dog and he was very happy, relaxed, and content and that's how I saw him when I posted it.

 

Yes, Becky, he has tried climbing on his nose a couple of times.  First time, Winston just jerked back really fast and the next, he actually let him crawl up but then the cham crawled right back off and I wasn't quick enough with the camera.

Not being up on the chameleon's social habits or 'personality', I wonder if this is just a random act of placing its foot on the dog.  Or is there some affection between these 2 as a result of living in the same house (are they both pets?)  This is just too cute!!!  The Lab looks decidedly mellow and not at all disturbed by the chameleon.
