Cooper Hawk With American Coot Lunch

Thanks for viewing/comments! I was testing out the 1D Mark IV borrow from

Canon CPS Loan and got lucky to run into Mr. Steve Shinn who alerted me

to this great opportunity to shoot this Cooper Hawk. It's too bad I ruin the

flying shot that Steve also help me with due to slow SS ....live and learn! :-)

Is a really handsome looking cooper.  Nice to see an adult at Eld.  I think a little highlight recovery might enhance image.  It would open up shadows plus lighten eye a tad.

Would be quite satisfying to run into another PNetter while afield to spend the day shooting with!

The DOF for this ground level view could'nt be better! As well as the details of the Hawk.

Thanks Monte! Yes, the image seems a bit dark. I have 2 laptops at home and 2 monitors at work and they are give me different images but it does seems darker than it should be.
