This is a thrilling series with fantastic tones and light.  I like the shadowed cluster of worshipers, angled and massed.  The object of their enthrall is a curious one.

...but in fact tourists visiting Partnachklamm - a gorge in the

Bavarian alps and a well known site in the area - are watching a

statue that has been set up opposite of the path leading through the

gorge.
