Well, you certainly "look" more experienced from the tell of this image. Great lighting and great post processing. You handled DOF very nicely, especially by rendering the distant trees in this sepia tone. The lighting on the forefront fence is well preserved and the management of perspective is well rendered. So, keep up your great work.

A well chosen perspective and a great view from your house too!   I like the proximity of the gate, it gives an anchor to the image and allows good foreground interest. I also like the definiton and the curves of the fenceline against the frosty backdrop. There is a dark object (possibly a bird?) along the sky line extreme left which I would clone out, but other than that I wouldn't suggest any other adjustments.  The little touches of sunlight are particularly nice!

Very well done Nicola!

Best Regards

Alf
