Shot with my first digital camera several months after I got it. Ishot more keepers on this one day in the summer of 2002 than on anyother day in my life. Comments welcome.

I really like the detail and sharpness in this photo and it really caught my eye when I was scrolling through the images. Well done!

Thanks, guys.   Back in those days, I only had a very heavy tripod, and the E-20 was also a heavy camera.  Combined with good light and therefore a fast shutter speed, this shot did give what I think is rather extraordinary resolution for a camera with such a small sensor  (in terms of dimensions)--not to mention having only five megapixels.  I still have this camera outfit, in pristine shape with an unused battery.

Olympus' Zuiko lenses also play a big role in such sharpness, in my opinion.

The exposure is perfect with a nice tonal range. About the only suggestion that I would make (and it is a small one) would be to clone out the South Main on the far left or move it to the right more. It being so close to the left edge almost makes the photo seem a bit haphazard and the little bit of sky on the right side really doesn't add as much as the South Main lettering does. Of course I could be wrong.

Thank you, Joseph.  Unfortunately, the original file ends at the left as it does in this photo, and I really don't see a satisfactory fix.

This crop, made at the moment of capture, has grated on my esthetic sense since I first saw it on the screen.  I must not have seen it at the time or surely I would have fixed it by swinging a bit left before pressing the shutter button.

I did not have Photoshop (with perspective correction) in 2002, and today I would probably see where the crop might be placed using that tool.
