i am not sure of the crop on the left...perhaps cropping at the wall (doing without the lighted patch on left) would be better. also the wire distracts. But i like the composition on the right  and the treatment is most appropriate. compliments -koushik

A most compelling image, addressing the plight of children of the poor . . .  The stark B-W contrast is amazing.

Good Morning Rajat, The stark contrast adds to the emotional charge of this image. The wire in the FG doesn't really bother me because it is part of the image, thereby giving authenticity to the location. It is well seen and presented IMHO. Take care Rajat.

To me it has the feeling of the '60s photojournalism.  The bright, blown area behind the semi silhouette makes a perfect background against which to outline & emphasize this child.  Screams poverty to me. No fancy playground for this unfortunate little one.  Nice work!  Best, LM.
