Vista from the top of the Arc De Triumph, Paris

A very interesting and original composition of shadows and trees. The panorama cut is quite unusual for this kind of photographs, but I find it works well here. Millions of people visit the Arc de Triomphe, but I bet very few look down this way - it takes quite an eye.

How on Earth did you manage to clear the Champs Elysees of all its traffic? Without bumper-to-bumper mayhem I would never have guessed this was Paris. A wonderfully peaceful mood and a great shot.
