Crystal Giants

This photo was taken on 28 August 2012 in Tasman River, Mount Cook in

the South Island of New Zealand. The nigh scene here was fabulous:

these giant icebergs floating on the river were beautifully shed by

Yan,  My wife and I visited New Zealand last March.  This is a super winter scene.  You are quite fortunate to have gotten a clear view of Mt. Cook.  It was shrouded in clouds when we attempted to see it from Lake Mattheson at Fox Glacier.  Wonderful work.  The only thing I wonder is if the water was this color or if you bumped up the saturation a degree toward the surreal.  Congratulaitons.  Larry

Beautiful setting! Like the juxtaposition of the icebergs in the lake with the icy mountains. Great texture in the icebergs. Stars in sky are a bonus too.

A beautiful image and the story is well-told. Unfortunately I learn nothing, as you have neglected to provide any camera/lens or exif data..... sad.

Nevertheless, I can appreciate its beauty......... thank you
