What I like:  The soft non-saturated color and non-contrasty tones.  The gentle feeling of a portrait of someone real. The look that says she is lost in thought.

What I think could be improved: Her nose just hides the far cheek and hides part of the far eye - this has been called a split profile since the days of early painted portraits and is considered a fault. One could have the model rotate slightly to alleviate it.  The distance from her eyes to the left margin is less than the distance to the right margin - I prefer giving the eyes space to look through.

She has an almost "bisque doll" look to her with the lighting and makeup. Very fragile feeling. The earrings do not match the delicat feel of the shot. Nice soft lighting adds to the effect.
