Absolutely stunning post production. I imagine the original were quite good and an alteration of this was hard. The choice of watercolor theme lifts this to the sublime. I need to go look at your other work from this.....

Hi Wayne, I like the colors and your PP work is very good. The tree is obviously the main subject here, but I really like the ground cover and the many tones. Good work.

Thanks, Holger. I kind of liked the way the leaves on the tree and on the ground took on the look of being back lit. I did some selective toning in the tree trunk to enhance the figure I saw and called father time.

Thanks, Patsy. The tree seemed to be posing and after reviewing several images, I felt I understood. Take a relaxed look at the tree trunk.

Thanks, Ruud. Your comments are always appreciated.

I can see immediately the face on the tree and why it would capture anyones imagination.  It has all the qualities of a childrens story book cover. The PP work is magical and really lends itself to the subject. Very well done!

Compliments & Best Regards

Very nice effect.  The brighter middle and far off blue-green gives it really nice depth.  Beautiful image.

thanks, Gail. "Topaz simplify"is my primary tool for creating painting like effects like lost and found edges, softening or hardening edges and combining similar shapes and tones.

Very Lovely and Yes... Quite Painterly Indeed! I often use Topaz Simplify to 'paint' my pin up images.
