Red Nose Buick

Very untraditional view of the car - you pulled it off with a beautiful play of colors between the car and the sky. A real keeper.

Very nice image Chuck! Great POV, I like that you captured the trail of the jet above you at the same time! My Dad once had an old Buick, it was beautiful, but in need of many repairs. We grew up quite poor, and when he came home with this car (we'd been without one for some time, I was only 6 yrs old), we were so excited. Dad did his best but the money was not there for many repairs, but I do remember riding in that wonderfully big car. I've had a fascination for Buicks ever since. I don't know what the rest of this one looks like, but it must be fabulous in Red!!! Nice capture Chuck!

I spent about half an hour photographing this car, different lenses, angles, distances. It was a good find, just out in the country on a dirt road. I'm attaching another view of it. It is I think, a '57 Special.

Great stuff; the contrast in shape and colors is powerful and the capper is the word Buick underlining the picture and giving the whole thing a space-age feeling. What a beauty.
