Gold Nuggets Discovered

Unfortunately these are no gold nuggets. I was visiting a friend when that person had forgotten some butter nut squash soup in the fridge far too long and she was just about to throw it out with some  mold and bubbles which had formed on top. Never one to miss an opportunity, I set up my tripod, placed my macro lens on the D300 and shone a flash light on the subject providing side lighting. Oh well, now that you know what it is, it is far less appealing - right? (*_*).

Other than grossing me out with your description :-), this is pretty extraordinary.  I think you have more kitchen experiment shots than anyone I know.  Keep 'em coming!
