A perfect title for this one. My, it must be so dry there. Devastating also, I'd imagine. How hot was it when you took this capture???

Thank you all for your comments. This is an occasional streambed. It's at the base of a series of large sand dunes in southern Colorado. During the day the snow at the top of the dunes melts and percolates down through them and forms a stream that flows for a few hours, stopping in the evening when the temperatures drop and the daily snowmelt ceases. That's when I shot this.
