michael ezra 0 Posted August 5, 2003 I would love to hear your thoughts and to know if this evokes any feelings. Thank you, Michael Ezra Link to comment
tmarable 0 Posted August 5, 2003 I like the colors on the model. The shadows created are very effective. Link to comment
eirik_holm_yvik 0 Posted August 5, 2003 My first reaction is how wonderfully twisted the right leg is. It reminds me of the fairytales where a tree grows into heaven. I really like the arm too. Link to comment
knightshow 0 Posted August 5, 2003 The subject looks very natural... in the sense that its something you would find in nature... a tree, a branch, something in nature that is not quite perfect, and that non-perfectness makes it perfect! Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted August 6, 2003 Superb. I'd prefer a tighter crop, but still, extremely well done. Congrats. Link to comment
kobi 0 Posted August 6, 2003 Great body-sculpture. I'd go for a tighter crop, and more contrast. Link to comment
jorge_oliveira2 0 Posted August 7, 2003 Something new in nude photos! Congratulations! Link to comment
david_bradley1 0 Posted August 7, 2003 I don't like the pose very much. I can't help but think that the model has to go to the bathroom. Seriously! Link to comment
robertbrown 1 Posted August 7, 2003 While you have some of the best nudes on this site, this particular shot isn't working for me (and I'm having a hard time articulating why). The pose is interesting and the model is fine. I guess it's the tonal range. Would prefer wider range of tones, more separation of model from background, and lighter print. And I'm not sure these suggestions would improve this or not. Just a few ideas. Link to comment
margaret_s. 0 Posted August 7, 2003 Although I really like some of your other photos, this one doesn't do it for me. She looks very uncomfortable and both her left arm and right leg look like she's working hard at keeping them there. That "effort" creates an inner tension as I look at the photo and makes ME feel uncomfortable because SHE looks uncomfortable. The pose itself is original but it somehow just doesn't work (for me, anyway :-) Just a thought, but you might want to work with models who do yoga. They can get into some pretty interesting twisted poses but if you're working with someone who's a pro, the twisted bodies will look natural, beautiful and strong. Link to comment
patanjali_parimi 0 Posted August 7, 2003 Beautiful twine and excellent pattern on the whole. Contrary to the earlier comment, I don't see any discomfort that the model is presumably feeling. She may not have a yoga butt (as the TIME writes) , but she is slim enough to be good for this kind photography. Link to comment
