Guest Guest Posted November 21, 2012 It reads like a delicate pastel etching. It's as if the recognizable subject is forming or taking shape before our eyes. What's great is how the verticality of the trees emanates from within the horizontal of the movement of the car, which is seen in the colored brush strokes. You've presented it elegantly, as if gently rubbed onto white paper. Many will want to call this Impressionistic, and I certainly would understand it and even concur. But there's a certain intrigue here, in the almost psychological underpinnings of the movement and scenery, that is more Expressionist than Impressionist. I guess it's simple. It's neither. It's Gordon. Link to comment

mike_stemberg 40 Posted November 21, 2012 I think you have always had a way of 'operating out of the box' in the best artistic way. Another positive from me for you! Link to comment
