The winter road

Magnificent trees and light! The road adds perspective to the image but I find the fact that it is an ordinary traffic road detracts from the image. Without the cars and the traffic sign we would at least be allowed to think it some unpaved rural trail. I realize this is what Norway looks like these days, but to me the road is just not the right element if you want to show the beauty of the snow covered trees and light which is what you set out to do I think.

Over all really nice image. I like the simple composition and the shot of color from the sign.

Yes, I will agree with the above post about the traffic sign and cars that are visible. The do distract some. The colours and mood is great though.

The colour seems quite grey (in particular the snow), have you tried to make (+) exposure compensation or is it the actual colour?? Anyway, the composition is good.
