Textures and Tones

Actually I wanted to put this in "landscapes" but because I used a human

figure as contrast, I guess I have to abide by the rule.

Jerry, you have combined a landscape with a figurative nude. There is much of the dramatic in this frozen moment but I also feel that it feels a little flat as there is too much going on. The landscape is dramatic but there are too many crevices and none very well presented. It makes the viewer want to see a little more. Then I notice the nude and it becomes apparent that the subject is the not those rocks but the nubile young being looking to resplendent on the rocks. Yet, we are not allowed a detailed glimpse of her unless the image is seen in a larger or zoomed in format.

There are some very fine examples of nudes shot in dramatic landscape within the website and I think you will benefit from looking at these images.
