What a delicate and lovely plant Dominick. I've used Protea before (other kinds) in exotic floral arrangements, this one is a bit different. Does it stay in this posture or does it open fully??? (nice capture)!

Gail, I've seen so many variations my guess is that if there is not enough water they do not fully develop.  I have many photos of these fuzzy tipped flowers with some wide open and others barely sprouting.  All beautiful ;-)
