'Do Not Trespass Against Others' is a caption suggested by the photo, not by

this nice guy's personality. Your ratings, critiques and observations are invited

and most welcome. If you rate harshly, very critically, or wish to make an

observation, please submit a helpful and constructive comment; please share

your photographic knowledge to help improve my photography. Thanks!

Enjoy! john

What a stunning photo, John!  I am surprised by the paucity of comments.  It is certainly one of your finest, in my opinion.

I also see from the EXIF data visible by right clicking on the image that you shot this with a modest camera and kit lens.  Talk about how much it is the photographer and not the camera!

Except that this man really is a very genial fellow, and we get along well and wonderfully whenever we see each other though we cannot really converse.

He welcomes me and poses, almost unbidden, and so I hasten to explain that he really is a handsome, friendly and friendly-looking fellow, caught in just an odd moment.

Yes, I shot this with a two generations old (now) camera selling for just a few hundred bucks now and a kit lens selling for less than $100 but highly recommended if you know how to stop it down; and you make the point well that it's the photographer more than the equipment (now at least) that is more transformative than before . . . . but there was a time not more than two or three years ago when equipment concerns were paramount.

But if I had shot this with a $2,000 lens, and a better camera, it still would be a better shot; I make do with what I have and do pretty well.

I am glad to see you returning; I always am delighted to see you skulking around here.  Please let your presence be known more frequently; I miss you and your presence.
