I get a sense that i have seen this one before. I presume you have reprocessed it. It looks just fine with a lovely composition and a golden color for the dredge.

Hi Tony-Thanks for your comments, always appreciated. Yes, you probably have seen this before.I bring it back occassionaly when I go down memory lane,it was taken on Top Of the World Highway in the Yukon. Actually I was comparing with one processed in Lightroom 3. When I purchased Elements 10 last year, it contained a 30 day trial disk which I am finally trying.I can see the difference but elements 10 is sure easier to use. Have you ever used Lightroom? Best Regards-Ross

I am with Lightroom 2. I use it as a library management system and to make edits to the image. I do what I can in terms of editing with Lightroom. I f I need to do more, it links me (I set it up that way) to Photoshop CS5 and to Capture NX. I find i am doing more with lightroom these days but then again my edits are really quite basic: lighten, darken, more or less contrast and color balance correction.

When I was in Dawson (Yukon) in 2009, i was heading for the top of the world highway but the forecast was for snow and some bridge or ferry may have been closed for the season. I had on non-winter tires and decided to head south instead.

Hey Ross...great image. I love the complimentary colors and framing of subject. Maybe the reds in the building are just a hair too strong. I believe that if you desaturate slightly, it will give it an "older" feel. Beautiful scene and I love your portfolio!
