frigo 4,155 Posted November 11, 2012 You are right. In PP,I had to brighten the face which was shaded by the wide hat,a problem common to shooting people in the highlands of Peru as they, women, men and children wear hats to protect from the intense sun at high altitude(up to 5000 meters). This and given that most of the shooting is done at midday in order to be back at some base before darkness makes for this type of result.A fill flash would have resolved some of the difficulty, but out of respect for the subject,I shyed away with the resulting white spots.I thank you for your helpful comment and will PP this one over in B/W which is more forgiving with the white spots.Merci et meilleures salutations-Laurent Link to comment

frigo 4,155 Posted November 11, 2012 Thank you for your kind comment. You are so right;very often in this type of situation, one does not have a chance for a second shot.I have posted in the Critique Forum a B/W conversion of this shot to see if the hot spots are less of a distraction.Meilleures salutations-Laurent Link to comment
