 I understand, from your title, that you had no choice, as cute as this cat is, it seems to just blend into the background object (cat tunnel?)  Were I confronted with such a situation I think I would give serious consideration to framing just the head - that is where all the cuteness is, anyway.

Yes I felt the same way and tried to crop just her face but then realized her sleepy body hang out of the log was the funny part of composition. I wish the log tunnel was a different color for sure.
