Hi Robert -Thanks for your comments. Puzzled by your mystery comment but studying the image I see what you meant.Best Regards-Ross

Lovely composition and a beautiful scene. I am looking at the barn and the adjacent tree trunk and it is giving me a sense that the image may require a color balance adjustment. Those areas, I think should be closer to gray but the intense surrounding color may be affecting it. maybe there is no need for any change but you are in the best position to judge since you were there.

Hi Tony- I found that graying the tree trunk & barn took a little bit of warmth from the scene.I appreciate your mentioning of it.Best regards-Ross

Ross,  This is a nicely seen and captured image.  Seeing and mental composition is everything.  I like the color of the leaves in the road.   Do you think the maple leaves are a bit over sharpened.  Until using CS6, I tended to pump up the clarity on images.  Lately, I'm going more for slightly softer looks.  It's not a criticism, but a question as to whether this would could benefit from being a touch softer.    Best to you.  Larry

Hi Larry-Thanks for your remarks , always appreciated.Regarding the sharpening, must admit to be a fan of some sharpness in an image, just so the viewer does not believe the image is out of focus. Feel we are fairly close on sharpness, just a matter of degree. What concerns me in the image is the clumping of leave to form large blobs of colour.. Have no idea the cause of these blobs,do you have any ideas? I always enjoy these discussions .usually both gain from these discussions.Best Regards-Ross.
