Landrum Kelly 64 Posted November 6, 2012 Thanks, Jamie. One likes it or one does not. Most apparently do not. --Lannie Link to comment
aarkp 2 Posted November 7, 2012 Well titled. The wood and concrete are succumbing to their growth. Would be interesting to see it again after a year. Link to comment

mike_palermiti 3 Posted November 12, 2012 Hi Lannie,This scene reminds me of a place that friends and I would hide out as youngsters.Well shot with still an effective old Kodak Pro camera. The only shortcoming for me is that I did not see any lens data, settings, etc. in the details section.Best Regards, Mike Link to comment
Landrum Kelly 64 Posted November 16, 2012 I lost that data somewhere back there, Mike. Thanks for visiting. --Lannie Link to comment
JPPhoto1664880217 5 Posted November 22, 2012 The color and tonal contrasts, and vantage point enhance the narrative. They create a feel of mystery that enhances the "run down" look of the area. Jim Phelps Link to comment
Landrum Kelly 64 Posted November 24, 2012 Thank you, Jim. This place was loaded with good shots, but we were in a hurry and so I came back with only two keepers. --Lannie Link to comment
Jack McRitchie 150 Posted March 12, 2016 Outstanding shot. I've just been looking through the gallery of top rated photographers and I came upon your name. Looking through some of your older folders I noticed this picture. It really grabbed my attention, especially the way it seems to careen along the crooked path to that dark space under the landing. One further comment in general about that gallery: Although there is a lot of professional caliber work there from photographers that obviously know what to do with a camera, few of them really moved me or truly caught my interest. There is a slickness and sameness to their work, highly polished with no rough edges and little spontaneity. It's like walking through a museum of the perfect and the perfectly boring.
