A nice action shot.

Technically, you used the "L" lens well.

On action images, I like a little more development in the color/contrast , so I attached another version of your original shot.

Hi Mike! Thanks for the comment and for this "hard version"...This was shot in a cloudy day and the surfer was far away from me...I did my best...In the end, I think I was lucky because the surfer seems to be sleeping in the wave...Take care my friend and thanks again!

It did look like a cloudy (dull) day and you did well with the action capture anyway.

I processed the image more to bring out details that I knew were present, but it does suggest a different daylight condition after the processing.

I often process my images two or three different ways to gain as much information embedded in the data base. It really becomes more of a personal choice as to which one is preferred.
