Hi Sam,

You certainly captured a strong rainbow , and the effect is a nice view.

Now, for me, I would have shot this wide open because of the focal length used, the distance of the entire scene and that your lens would have provided better definition. BUT, I will knowledge the fact that rainbows (the main subject) are not subject to having high definition content often, so F/11 is fine.

Hi Mike,

this was again one of those spur at the moment shots.

The rainbow disappeared in a few seconds after I had taken this shot. It came & went with high speed as the rain was blown away by strong wind.

So, I just grabbed the first camera at hand, had not time for exact settings, & shot away immediately....
