'The Apple'

  The idea, the crop and the redness of the apple are grand.  I suggest, however, that the fact that the shoes merge into the background is not such a good idea.

It is purely an esthetic idea but I can't help but wondering if the red garment were not there (not really exposing more of the model) the lone redness of the apple would really stand out.  If that were combined with red shoes the effect might be tremendous.

I know that this kind of suggestion means I don't appreciate that the model would not cooperate because she does not do nudes, etc.  but in art we talk about the ideal.
