The portrait orientation was made for this scene, great colour and  sharpness too.  How did you get the trees to stay vertical when tilting the camera upwards?

Hi Alf As always, nice to hear from you, I really like your comments.This is a third generation image .The first was in the camera,just a regular image The second,I was playing around with the image ( polite word for bored) with image size & gradually increasing the height & decreasing the width, finally ending with this rendition & a third generation image.I was surprised in obtaining this height. Am going to try the opposite, decrease the height & increase the width. Expect you are sitting there & thinking,"Cripes(this is an English expression or is it not) Ross, get a life!." We are kind of between seasons over here, that is my excuse & I'm sticking with it.Take Care & Best Wishes -Ross.

Nice use of wide angle to create the sense of scale of the tall trees.  A lovely image, and seemingly a great place for a hike!
