Mirogoj Cemetery

The Mirogoj Cemetery is one of the most beautiful cemetery parks inEurope and, because of its design, numbers among the more noteworthylandmarks in the City of Zagreb.

The architect Herman Bollé designed the shape of the cemetery,applying a monumental composition of arcades, pavilions and domes,intermingled with rich vegetation, and adding a gallery of sculpturesby Croatian sculptors.
