My goal was to mimic the effect of quickly zooming in on the bed of

tulips, but I couldn't do this quickly enough with my lens, so I tried

it in PS. Do you think this is too gimmicky? Your opinions, please.

I like the result but I do think if you kept 1 of the flowers in focus it would be more convincing.  I agree, it is very hard to do in camera.  I've been practicing it for months and finally got a couple of good autumn pix that way (in camera).

 

Experimenting is fin...keep at it.

Yes, I had the same thought after the fact.  If I get the time to play with this, I'll go back and see if I can get it with the center flower in focus......or maybe even the center 4 flowers.  Thanks for the visits and suggestion.
