Nice texture in the cliff faces, and you've managed to keep the sky. I might be tempted to "cheat" (?)" and add a slightly more interesting sky, but as an authentic record shot this is pretty good. Have you tried running it through an infra red filter ? Might generate some nice tonal qualities in the rock. I've attached a quick go at it, but the downloadable version of the image lacks the necessary data to do a decent rendering, hence the pixelated blocky effect. If you work with your original image it should be better.

Landscapes beg for some foreground interest and dramatic lighting. I generally scout my location first, then keep going back to the spot during different lighting and sky conditions. Right before a storm is perfect timing, or right after a storm, or even a starry landscape on long exposure works. Effort shows in a picture, if you simply went out, pointed the camera and took a shot, it's gonna show usually in the shot.
