Lovely view Adam. Might I humbly suggest that it's a little overexposed? I note from your personal description that you take a personal stand against editing in post, but does that extend to shooting raw and editing in camera? (I realise your camera may not offer that facility). Likewise the use of e.g. circular polarising filters, which would make this image much more engaging.

 

I realise this is probably not the place to debate the merits of post-processing, but back in the film days , unless you shot slide there'd always be minor corrections to images when they were printed and I view basic brightness/contrast editing as that sort of thing.

 

I've included an example of what I mean below (slightly over-done for effect). Your opinion may differ, but I think it really brings out the vibrance and helps contrast the colour of the road against the sky.

 

It's a nicely composed and engaging image, and it seems a shame for a minor technical issue to distract from that.
