frigo 4,155 Posted October 24, 2012 It was cold this morning and the sunrise not that spectacular.Back into the house,my lense fogged up.I pointed at the peeking sun,saw the glare and shot. What do you think? To preserve the total glare,I tilted the whole frame to correct the horizon. Thanks for viewing/commenting-Laurent Link to comment
James G. Dainis 300 Posted October 24, 2012 The fogging does make for an interesting photo. I wonder if increasing the contrast would "help" by keeping the look but reducing the flatness. I think you have hit upon a new concept that I have not seen before. Usually one tilts the image to get a level horizon and then crops square. losing some of the image. What you have done makes one think that there must be something wrong with the computer screen. "Hey, Martha, does this picture look crooked to you?" I think I will have to try that a few times just for fun. Link to comment

frigo 4,155 Posted October 24, 2012 Thank you for picking this up and for your comment.I agree that kicking up the contrast would remove the flatness and I played with this but decided to keep it low and preserve a bit of the fog.I will post the next shot to this one where I bumped up the contrast with a resulting crisper halo around the sun;hope you also take a look at it and tell me what you think. As for the tilt correction,I have been using this for some time on shots where cropping after correction bites too much in the heart of the subject.Meilleures salutations-Laurent Link to comment
