That's pretty cool. I always thought it would be great if I had something to get the camera up and over trees, buildings, etc. Now you just need to figure out how to remote control and view a dSLR hanging from it!

That's awesome! Especially when you realize that they probably used another one to capture the video. I'm curious as to what they're using to communicate with the camera.

The GoPro has an interval timer built in.  I'm using that for now.

Yeah but that still wouldn't let you see what exactly you have framed. I imagine that they must have some sort of wireless off camera monitor. I've never seen anything like that, but without it I think you could only get a general idea of what is in you frame. I mean try aiming your camera at arms length without looking at the screen, I find more often than not I'm quite a bit off.

The optional GoPro Wifi Back will transmit what the camera sees to a computer or smart-phone.  They claim up to 600'.

Cool stuff, can't wait to see some images posted. I can imagine it would be great for landscapes where getting up and over everything would enable you to get shots that are otherwise near impossible.
