What a wonderful misty atmosphere for creative photography. One suggestion I have is to position something in the foreground that is sufficiently close to the camera to be rendered clearly. Then the background fades away into the mist. In this graveyard I would have got close to an interesting grave stone and positioned it in the left or right hand corners (rules of thirds for composition). Hope this helps....

Many thanks for the suggestion. This was a crop of a shot so I'll go back to the original file and see if I actually have anything close in focus.  Otherwise, I'll just have to wait for anothe foggy morning!

I'm not an expert but I like shooting in fog also.  Really adds to the mood.  At times I  like it when their is some light streaming through the fog into the shot from the backround to varying degrees of intensity.  In the case of this scene might even add an element of optimism if so desired.  Nice shot.
