I originally took this photo in color, but given that it was the

beginning of April and not much color had sprung forth yet, the color

version was actually not that much different from this one! So I just

went ahead and converted it to black and white, which did get rid of

some of the distracting clothing in the foreground and put the focus

on the gap in the trees that was framing the Eiffel Tower. This view

is from Montmartre.
