krpradu 125 Posted October 14, 2012 Agree Gail that is an unique shot I saw with this subject, way you composed it with seal in foreground and excellent glacier bg makes this so good,I like seal posture that seems to be asleep and so relaxed. This photo is a delight,my best regards. Link to comment

Vlado 0 Posted October 14, 2012 Looks like that seal is relaxing on a balmy beach - excellent shot! Link to comment
thadley 15 Posted October 15, 2012 With some images it is love at first sight and this one falls into that category. It is not just any 'old seal' but one that has its 'hands' neatly folded, and apparently sleeping as if it did not have any worries. Then you have a crisp background which 'tells a story' and completes the image. On the technical side, the only thing I would do is straighten the horizon/water line. If by straightening the water line you end up losing part of the seal then just leave it in it's original state. Congrats on a very fine image. Link to comment
sherrybell 0 Posted October 15, 2012 Birte, This is such a wonderful and pleasing image of this seal. it is interesting how other creatures can often have seemingly human like qualities, like folding its arms/ flippers as though maybe feeling a little cold or just comfortably relaxed and sleeping soundly. Great capture! Sherry Link to comment
