krpradu 125 Posted October 13, 2012 I don't know how I missed this one.Is for sure something on my taste, nice clearing with long grass, the s creek in it,some green firs and all viewer attention goes to horizon line.Is a nice opposition sky and ground in color.best regards Link to comment
frigo 4,155 Posted October 13, 2012 This place is less than 5 minutes from my house and has good light in mid-afternoon.It is a choice location for moose and I wish my timing would have been such to have one in the middle of the frame.......maybe another day!Thank you for your kind comment.Meilleures salutations-Laurent Link to comment
sherrybell 0 Posted October 18, 2012 Laurent, This is really beautiful with wonderful fall colors and those amazing clouds adding to the beauty. I am not sure, but maybe your wide angle lens caused a bit of a tilt in the trees, PS should be able to straighten the trees. Really beautiful and nice depth of field. frigo 4,155 Posted October 18, 2012 Thank you for the kind comment. You are right about the tilt brought about by this wide angle glass especially when used at the 10mm end;I don't mind it on landscape shots as this one where it is rather soft and on closer shots,I like the exagerated tilt it imposes on structures set close to the edge of the frame and I use it on many of my shots.I must also admit that my limited PP skills keep me away from the dewarping procedure.Meilleures salutations-Laurent Link to comment
ryourth 0 Posted January 27, 2014 Hi Laurent-Very nice. The deep saturated colours & dark clouds create a strong & interesting image.Like how the trees become smaller as they advance to the horizon. Have been trying to figure out if the steams are flowing out of or into the image. It's a visual pleasure to sit back & enjoy your fine image.Best Regards-Ross Link to comment
frigo 4,155 Posted January 27, 2014 Thank you for viewing and for your kind observation. At the far end, this stream curves and links up with the harbour;it is tide sensitive and flows both directions. Here,it is fairly full,so I would think it to be at or near high tide.Keep well my friend.Meilleures salutations-Laurent Link to comment
