I have sent my other image in color, this one is in B&W, which I wonder if

its more appropriate to be in B&W, since the fog deteriorates the color

quality anyways.

Personally, I think this B&W works better.  I'd like to see more contrast within the main portion of the photo -- it's pretty flat, IMO.

I don't want to sound defensive, but its flat because of the fog.  If you look at it larger it makes a lot more sense, I know its popular to have high contrast, but don't think it applies to foggy scenes - I think.

Anon, I'd agree with you from the fog line and above.  It's the foreground that I'm questioning (realizing that even this might be affected by some fog).  One reason I raise this issue is that HDR often removes contrast, and it sometimes needs (IMO) to be added back.  I don't know if that's fog or HDR effects on both the left and the right.
