overdiep 0 Posted October 11, 2012 Indeed, Pierre, this house is old and badly maintained. Behind the windows you can expect ghosts. Only ghosts can take the risk to stay on the balustrade. This image could be a coloured drawing. Best regards, Marco Link to comment
morophaenixmau 22 Posted October 11, 2012 Quanta vita sarà passata dietro queste finestre! E' il tempo che passa ma le storie restano e resteranno per sempre, anche se non raccontate: basta uns foto fatta con l'anima e le storie si raccontano da sole! Ciao grande anima! Maurizio. Link to comment

patspics 6 Posted October 12, 2012 Love the canvas texture and the tones. Pity there wasn't an interesting looking old person on the balcony! That would have finished it off nicely!. Pat. Link to comment
tamaramar 0 Posted October 12, 2012 Hi, Pierre! There is something about windows and doors, and old houses....Yes , it is an old and hardly taken care of building. But it is not somber, or grumpy... It has that optimistic vibe around it. Like people chose to be :grumpy complainers or those who embrace the fall of their life and count blessings.... - incurable optimists. I prefer the last ones - they are just beautiful no matter what! Great picture, Pierre, that tells the story. Warm regards, Tamara Link to comment

llgarcia 1 Posted October 14, 2012 I like the treatment of this image for it underscores the antiquity of the building. Much more, what I admire in the composition is the inclusion of the window with the balcony which not only create impact but breaking the monotony of the windows all the more made this photograph so interesting. Congratulations to you, Pierre! Link to comment
JPPhoto1664880217 5 Posted October 16, 2012 An interesting example of "Urban Decay". I like the "feel" the added texture gives the image. Jim Phelps Link to comment
