Very nice image but be careful. This is dangerous practice (unless somebody else was driving and you took the picture).

while the sky has very little structure, i think keeping it worked here in suggesting the expanse. compliments -koushik

Looks like you must have enjoyed some truly spectacular vistas during your stay in Greece, Pnina...  Very impressive & thanks for sharing. I like your (deceptively) plain square composition here - straightforward & effective. The natural colors ( especially the golden hues on the rocks against the blue sky) are lovely.

Knowing that this was taken while driving increases the perceived distance - just driving by the monastery becomes even more unreachable. Like Marjolein, I like colours and square crop - the space above the monastery works well here: it emphasizes the upward direciton of rocks and building.

Marjolein,my friends were a great advantage! and we really saw a lot,and  I have enjoyed  the sights and came home with a real photographic treasures....
